Zorbing

　　“Zorbing? What’s zorbing?” Almost everyone asked me when I talked about my plans for the weekend.

　　“Zorbing,” I answered happily, “...  is rolling down a hill in a big plastic ball.” And I couldn’t wait to try it out!

　　Arriving at the zorb park, I found, in fact, that a zorb ball is a huge, clear, plastic ball with a smaller ball inside. There are two kinds of zorb balls: the harness ball and the hydro ball.

　　I chose to start off with the harness zorb. At first, I strapped myself in the ball. Then with one big push, I was on my way down the hill. In the rolling ball, I could feel blood rushing to my head then back to my feet over and over again. At last, the ball stopped. I scrambled out and was back up the top of the hill for my next go.

　　My next ride was the hydro zorb. I wanted to challenge myself to keep standing during my run. I took my position and then with small steps, the ball began its downhill run. I looked like a mouse in a running wheel! Unluckily, I slipped and ended up on my backside. Anyway, I had a great time trying!

　　So now when I’m asked “what’s zorbing?” I can say, “it’s simply a whole lot of fun!”
