游学心得——I Just Want to Say ‘Thank You’ Again

We are having out American Summer Camp, and there’s a lot of interesting things, special things around us. As I, it happened an amazing thing.

We were in the ‘The UNITED STATES MINT’ that day. There’s a lot of special coins, like ‘Liberty’, ‘Liberty bell’ and many famous things. Even we saw the factory that make out money! That’s too special and exciting. We all felt happy and unbelieveable when we saw many cars of golden coins!

And the most amazing thing was coming. In the shop, there’s many things about money. It was too cool. I want to buy a pen that had my name, even it’s 9.99 dollars! I covered my eyes and thought ‘That’s too expensive!’ But at that time, I hadn’d any money, but I love that pen. So I borrow 10 dollars from tourist guide. When I pay the money, I thought I was stupid. Add tax, it was 10.69 dollars! Oh, no!! What could I do? Even I didn’t want this pen. So I picked the money, and the pen. When I turn back to the pens, an American father said ‘Hi gua! Take this money!’ What? Somebody was sending me money? I can’t believe it. So I said ‘when shall I…’ But he said quickly ‘give them to he.’ He pointed at the assistant. Oh, god. He’s too kind! I looked at his two sons, and thought. After paied the money, I said ‘Thank you’, and he smiled.

Now I know, although you ask Americans where is the restroom, they will say that clearly and with a smile. Americans are friendly and warm-hearted!
