Pet phrases for you and me

       What are your pet phrases, my friends? A study says that pet phrases can reveal your characteristics. Do you believe it? Here are some phrases that are usually spoken by Chinese. Take notice of your Chinese friends! What pet phrases do they speak?

Things like“啊、呀、这个、这个、嗯”(These guys are usually lack of words when talking with others. They are dull too.)

Things like “But, However, Nevertheless etc.”  (They use "However" to protect themselves. To some extent, it reflects that these guys are mild.)

Things like“It is said that, people say that, they say that, be told that etc.”（These guys are well informed but hesitant. Also, these sophisticated people usually say these words.）

See，there are some many pet phrases in our life. Do you know what is Bill Gates’ pet phrase, that’s “Okay”, perhaps if you say ‘You owe me 20million dollars, please pay them back.’ He will say ‘Okay’.

So I don’t think it is good for you to use your pet phrases very often, it may cause terrible jokes, and also it is considered a bad manner to use these pet phrases on a formal occasion.  

Here are some pet phrases that I collected from my classmates and teachers:

I need some sleep.（我需要睡眠。） famous pet phrase for us

Zip your fly! （闭嘴！）famous pet phrase for teachers

You are the boss! （听你的！你说了算！） 

That's bullshit! （废话！） famous pet phrase for teachers 

I don't care.（不关我的事/我不管。） we usually say it in English

 Are you crazy? （你疯了吗？） we usually say it in English

Use your head.（动动脑筋。） common pet phrase for teachers 

I will do my best! （我会尽力的！） usually before an exam

I feel terrible.（我感觉糟透了。）usually after an exam
