About Christmas Party

For a student journalist of SSP, Christmas Party is undoubtedly the most exciting time of the year. Dressed in beautiful clothes, we all enjoyed the performance on that memorable night.

As for me, I have organized a musical named “What Should I Do”. It is a story about Rita, a high school student, was in a dilemma of being a singing star or giving up the good chance. Her friends kept different points so she didn’t know how to deal with it. Nevertheless, she chose to stick to her dream and eventually became a celebrity in Hollywood.

“I want it all”, “the climb”, “butterfly flies away” and “everyday” mainly composed the musical and it proved to be a success. Writing the play on their own, our members learned the dance from videos as well. Some of them even spent their spare time teaching other members the dance. After several times of rehearsal, then it comes to the perfect performance.

Although there was something wrong with the music played, as the chief director, I have to say that nothing mattered. Just have fun and enjoy every moment. We were not professional actresses. We are just nobody. But nobody is perfect. So we are perfect.
