世博千灯古镇行——选拔“世博外宾接待”小志愿者

 A Pleasant Trip to Qiandeng

　　May 22th, a rainy morning, we, SSP journalists started our pleasant journey to a traditional Chinese town Qiandeng. Despite the drizzling weather, we still spent a very nice weekend there. We’ve enjoyed the beautiful scenery at the countryside and learned a lot about traditional Chinese culture.

　　The winding river, pebble paths, zigzag bridge, all the scenery in the old town left me a deep impression. I felt quite relieved that most of the houses still kept their original style in Qing dynasty, and some historic relics were also well-protected. Walking on these pebble roads, watching the smiles on the faces of local residents, I found the lives in small town enjoyable and attracting.

　　During the visit in the town, we observed the process of making noodles, and watched the performance of Chinese opera. As middle school students, we have the responsibility to protect Chinese culture and traditional art. And from this journey, I knew more about it.

　　After all, it’s really a fruitful and pleasant journey.
