       This festival is held by the Hani people in Yunnan, China every year. They think painting their bulls can ward off beasts such as tigers. And the festival also gives them a chance to show their talent for painting. They use different colours to paint the bulls. You can find people, places and weather on the whole body of the bulls, including their horns!

       Forty-eight bulls join in the festival. Which bull will be the most beautiful one this year? Let’s make a bet!

       I like walking barefoot. How does it feel? It feels good!

       In the daytime, I like to walk on the path. It is a hot and hard path. At night, I like to walk on the sand. The sand feels cold and soft.

In spring, it often rains. I like to walk in the mud. The mud is cool and sticky. In summer, let’s go to the seaside! Let’s walk on the rocks. They are wet and slippery. In autumn, it is nice to take a walk by the river. There the stones are hard and bumpy. In winter, I like to stand on the rug. Wow! My feet feel warm!

Now I am at home. After a bath, I like to walk barefoot on the tiles. They are cold and smooth. That’s my favourite!

       When Morris caught a butterfly, he set it free at once. “We can’t keep a friend locked up,” he said, laughing.
